







Multi award winning documentary cameraman, director, and stills photographer based in Oxfordshire, UK.
Specialising in natural history and documentary film-making I have a host of awards and nominations including multiple EMMY, BAFTA, ASC, Royal Television Society, Guild of Television Cameraman and Wildscreen awards for cinematography. I have filmed, directed or produced several films for BBC2’s Natural World strand, and I have worked on many of the BBC Natural History Unit’s landmark series including Life in the Undergrowth, Life, Frozen Planet, Africa, Life Story, Planet Earth II, Dynasties and Seven Worlds: One Planet. I own a full Red Weapon Helium 8K & Red Gemini 5K production packages which are available for dry hire or as part of my DoP / cinematographer rate.
I have a broad range of highly developed specialist photographic skills from long lens to advanced motion control macro, gimbal, and time-lapse. I am a CAA certified drone pilot.
As a photographer I have reached the finals of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition on eight occasions. My work has been used to illustrate a wide variety of articles, calenders and books. My stills are represented by Getty Images.
