Multi award winning documentary cameraman, director, and stills photographer based in Oxfordshire, UK.
Specialising in natural history film-making I have over 50 credits to my name, many as principal cameraman, and host of awards and nominations including multiple EMMY, BAFTA, Royal Television Society and Wildscreen ‘Panda’ awards for cinematography. I have filmed, directed or produced several films for BBC2′s Natural World strand, and I have worked on many of the BBC Natural History Unit’s landmark series including Life in the Undergrowth, Life, Frozen Planet & Africa. I own a full Red Epic production package which is available for dry hire or as part of my DoP / cinematographer rate.
As a photographer I have reached the finals of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition on seven occasions. My work has been used to illustrate a wide variety of articles, calenders and books. My stills are represented by Getty Images.
