Multi award winning documentary cameraman, director, and stills photographer based in Oxfordshire, UK.

Specialising in natural history film-making I have over 50 major credits to my name, many as principal cameraman, and host of awards and nominations including multiple EMMY, BAFTA, Royal Television Society, Guild of Television Cameraman and Wildscreen awards for cinematography. I have filmed, directed or produced several films for BBC2’s Natural World strand, and I have worked on many of the BBC Natural History Unit’s landmark series including Life in the Undergrowth, Life, Frozen Planet,¬†Africa,¬†Life Story and Planet Earth II. I own a full Red Dragon production package which is available for dry hire or as part of my DoP / cinematographer rate.

As a photographer I have reached the finals of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition on eight occasions. My work has been used to illustrate a wide variety of articles, calenders and books. My stills are represented by Getty Images.
